You’ll help bring ideas to life, contribute to collections, and work across all stages of product development. Key Responsibilities
* Develop concepts, sketches, and CADs in collaboration with the Senior Designer
* Create and update tech packs with construction details, materials, and specifications
* Research trends and analyse the market to keep designs relevant and competitive
* Support fabric, trim, and colour selection for seasonal collections
* Work with cross‑functional teams—including merchandising and buying—to ensure a cohesive range
* Attend supplier and departmental meetings, supporting the Senior Designer with presentation and mood boards
* Contribute ideas in brainstorming and seasonal design meetings
* Deliver work to deadlines, aligned with project timelines and the critical path
* Stay up‑to‑date with industry trends and competitor activity
Qualifications
* Degree in Fashion Design or related field
* 1–2 years’ experience in a design role, ideally in children’s fashion
* Strong Adobe Illustrator and CAD skills
* Good knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and trims
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Highly organised with strong time‑management skills
* Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
* Passion for children’s fashion and a strong eye for detail
