As the BDM you will be required to build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, creating strategies to build interest from the prospective clients and ultimately achieving on the business growth targets. You will also be involved in the onboarding new clients, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure their smooth implementation. This is highly autonomous and entrepreneurial supported by a management team who truly understand sales. Although support is provided, the role requires the BDM to be proficient and motivated at every stage of the sales process. YOUR DAYS WILL INVOLVE… The delivery of profitable new business individual sales target for SG Fleet UK Developing a prospect strategy for the assigned area, resulting in a collaborative approach for contacting and contracting of prospects Contacting prospects, prepare proposals for agreements and lead negotiations with the prospects. Delivering strategic sales plan bi-annually noting approach to enact the plan Ensuring an agreed targeted prospect list is established and maintained in Dynamics/CRM, including all active opportunities noting an up-to-date Sales stage that delivers consistent and accurate reporting Delivering timely onboarding process for all new clients including handover to relevant Relationship team Helping to develop third party relationships with lenders - e.g., CBA / BOQ etc. Preparing and presenting clear and concise deal pricing strategies as required, seeking relevant sign off A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU You will be motivated and enjoy helping clients to find their perfect fleet partner. You are not a transactional salesperson but will have a desire to work for a creative and commercially focused company who work hard at creating solutions to fit the client needs and will work to come to a commercially viable relationship with a client whenever it makes business sense to do so. You will truly want to work as part of a sales team- working with your peers and understand that team cohesion is extremely important to be successful.
