ANALYTICS ENGINEER

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Analytics Engineer will:
Manage and maintain data pipelines in Azure Data Factory and Databricks. Integrate core systems and APIs across HR, ERP and internal platforms. Develop and evolving their lakehouse environment and transformation logic. Design data models that align with business requirements and reporting needs. Work closely with stakeholders, including finance, to structure data effectively. Create robust semantic models and supporting the Power BI reporting layer. Implement scalable design patterns covering incremental loads and snapshotting. Support end-to-end builds across ingestion, transformation and consumption.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Strong commercial experience working in a cloud data environment, ideally Azure. Hands-on experience with Databricks or similar transformation frameworks. Strong SQL skills. Solid Power BI capability, including modelling, DAX and semantic layers. Experience with data modelling approaches such as star schema, Kimball or medallion architectures. Ability to partner with non-technical teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders. * Comfortable working autonomously in an evolving data function.
