We are currently recruiting for an experienced NPD Quality Engineer for our Antrim site.
In this role, you will be responsible for making sure all products meet company and industry quality standards. Responsibilities also include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions.
General Responsibilities
1. Designs, implements and maintains quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
2. Conducts the planning, implementing and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality and regulatory standards requirements for worldwide distribution
3. Handles design methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluating the precision and accuracy of production processes, production equipment and finished products
4. Conducts analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures when necessary
5. Develops methods for testing, sampling and training
6. May act as internal consultant by providing technical guidance on most complex projects
7. Works with quality inspection supervisors to train and oversee inspectors in their use of control forms, procedures, and correcting quality problems
Experience / Qualifications
8. A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
9. Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
10. Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
11. Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
12. Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
13. Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
14. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
15. Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Specific Criteria
16. Must have a proven track record in an NPD Quality role, ideally gained in a manufacturing environment.
17. Strong data management and analysis skills.
18. Experience of working in a regulated environment.
