Healthcare Support Worker- Inpatient Haematology
Band 3 22.2 hours per week
We have a vacancy for a part time Healthcare Support Worker within Haematology Inpatients ward. We provide highly specialised care for patients with a range of haematological conditions. The care is varied, busy and highly rewarding with patients receiving high intensity chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, supportive and holistic care and acutely unwell unscheduled care. Staff in this friendly and supportive team develop a wide range of nursing skills and knowledge. The Anchor Unit as a whole is sociable, fast moving and progressive; actively supporting, development and further training; offering excellent opportunities for both professional and personal development.
The candidate is required to work 12 hour shifts and be willing to work day and night duty. The successful candidate will be required to provide a high standard of person centred care to individuals and be forward thinking within the role.
