Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex disabilities?
We're recruiting for a dedicated OT to join a supportive team focused on maximising quality of life and independence for children and young people across Suffolk.
This is a county-wide role with flexibility on office base and working arrangements. While attendance at team meetings is expected, there is no requirement for regular office-based work.
About the Role
You'll carry out high-quality assessments in home environments, identifying needs and recommending solutions through:
Specialist equipment
Minor and major adaptations
Advice and support for families and carers
You'll work collaboratively with professionals across health, education, housing, and community equipment services to deliver impactful outcomes.
Requirements:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Experience working with Children with Disabilities(Social Care setting desirable)
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage your own caseload
Excellent communication skills for working with families and professionals
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
