Overview
Mechanical Fitters & Pipe Fitters, Fitter Welders & Mates: working on the installation of cable tray, ladder racking, uni strut supports & brackets ready for pipework. Fabrication of 2 - 4 inch & 6 - 8 inch pipework and setting up pipe butts & flanges for welding. Pipework welded to coded specs with TIG or MMA. Connecting pipework to panels, valves manifolds working from general & PID engineering drawings fitting screwed, maypress and small bore compression pipework.
Responsibilities
* Installing mechanical systems on machinery & erecting fitting steel work platforms on food factory sites.
* Completing checks & pipework tests.
* Working from IPAF Scissor Lift/Cherry Picker.
Employment & Location
We are acting as an employment on behalf of our client. Recruiting skilled & semi-skilled applicants/workers for their various sites, including Wrexham, Carmarthen, Cardiff, Newport and other areas. Further work could be available if prepared to travel and ideally prepared to lodge away with hotel & meal paid for by the company, if required for 3 to 5 nights per week if sites are not in local areas.

Travel & Accommodation
Travel may be required. Lodge arrangements: hotel & meals paid if living 60+ miles from site.
Hours
Hours of Work: 0700 to 1900, Monday to Friday; Saturday 0700 – 1630; Sunday if required.
Term
Term Work: 2 to 4 weeks plus other phases of work to be confirmed; could be longer subject to attendance, performance & workload.
Pay
Pay: Skilled £26 per hour (Mon to Fri) & £31 per hour Sat & £35 per hour Sun.
