About the Role:
You will coordinate and project manage various environmental quality and certification programs within the LEQ department, working closely with the Local Environmental Quality Manager to ensure effective delivery, stakeholder engagement, and supervision of departmental officers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordination: Manage resources, including field officers, to deliver program outputs effectively within budget and deadlines.
2. Project Management: Lead planning, implementation, and reporting of environmental initiatives.
3. Surveying and Certifications: Coordinate certification programs like Blue Flag, Green Flag, and cleanliness surveys across boroughs and neighborhoods.
4. Community Engagement: Develop community participation in sustainability initiatives and promote award programs.
5. Communications: Act as the primary contact, respond to technical inquiries, and represent the charity at events.
6. Research Support: Assist in research and policy analysis related to environmental sustainability.
