Practice Overview
Fully private practice supporting FPI and Plan patients. The role starts on 15 June 2026. Working hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 8:30am – 2:30pm. The team consists of two clinicians and a hygienist in a two‑surgery practice. Modern facilities are available. The practice is undergoing re‑branding and marketing; the new team is seeking a Practice Manager to integrate and help direct operations. The principal dentist and wider clinical leads provide support.
Job Description
* Manage the daily operations of the practice, including patient scheduling/registration, medical records, data entry, cash posting, daily bank deposit activity, office maintenance and computer systems.
* Supervise and develop medical office personnel to ensure maximum efficiency, covering staff selection, onboarding/training and scheduling.
* Ensure the practice provides appropriate patient service, resolving concerns and issues.
* Maintain office policies and procedures, overseeing compliance related activity.
* Provide additional administrative support to the physicians.
* Be proactive and encourage further growth of the practice and patient base.
Role Requirements
* Previous practice manager experience or clinical experience in a dental setting.
* Experience in health care, retail or hospitality is also considered.
* Strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach to leadership.
* Experience with scheduling, billing and patient records.
* Ability to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
* Financial management skills including budgeting, reporting and revenue cycle management.
* Recruitment, training and supervision of administrative and clinical staff.
* Knowledge of healthcare regulations and commitment to maintaining up‑to‑date industry standards.
* Vendor relationship management and contract negotiation skills.
* Quality assurance program implementation.
* Analytical skills to assess practice performance metrics and develop improvement strategies.
* Professional handling of patient complaints and conflict resolution.
