Duties
* Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs.
* Engage with customers to provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
* Utilise effective upselling techniques to enhance the customer shopping experience and increase sales.
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing merchandise display to attract customers.
* Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling and till operations.
* Manage time efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated shifts.
* Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when responding to customer inquiries via phone or email.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities (especially in Spanish) are advantageous.
* Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
* Exceptional organisational skills to maintain stock levels and store appearance.
* Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
