The opportunity
If you’re passionate about supporting vulnerable people and have experience in a similar environment, this could be the perfect next step in your career to join our Trusts & Estates Team, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through some of life’s most challenging moments. You’ll play a crucial role in supporting clients who may have mental capacity or mental health challenges.

* Client‑facing and varied role, including office work, home visits, and hands-on support for individuals and families
What You’ll Be Doing
* Coordinating and attending client meetings, ensuring clear, empathetic communication
* Preparing and submitting Court of Protection applications
* Managing a range of processes including annual returns, bond payments and submissions
* Preparing detailed cost assessments
* Assisting with social services care funding and welfare benefits applications
* Keeping accurate, reconciled financial records for each client
* Conducting welfare checks directly or via professional third parties
* Providing practical day‑to‑day assistance, such as:
* Organising house clearances or relocation logistics
* Supporting transitions into care
* Managing utilities, finances and property maintenance
* Arranging property and asset valuations
* This is a hands-on, client‑centred role where no two days are the same.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with vulnerable individuals (e.g. adult social care, social work, support work, care coordination, community care)
Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act 2005
Ability to travel to clients and between offices
A positive, proactive and caring approach
Strong organisational and time‑management skills
Self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Empathetic, client‑focused attitude
Confident with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
Desirable Experience
Previous work within the Court of Protection or a related legal/social care setting
Experience with safeguarding procedures
Understanding of social care provision, social services and welfare benefits
Background in adult social care
