A high-achieving and supportive secondary school in Cheadle, Stockport is seeking a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their science department on a full-time basis from September 2025. This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic graduate to work alongside experienced teachers and support pupils across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
About the Role:
* Support students in Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Deliver 1:1 and small group intervention sessions, helping pupils grasp key concepts and improve confidence
* Assist with lesson preparation, lab-based practical support, and resource creation
* Provide classroom support during practical investigations and help manage behaviour
* Monitor and report on student progress to contribute to personalised learning plans

* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (based on experience)
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:15pm
