Unit Manager We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Care Home Unit Manager to support the Home Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care home.

You will be a key part of a strong management team, working closely with nurses and carers to ensure residents receive the highest standards of nursing and clinical care.
In this Unit Manager role, you will focus on delivering excellent person-centred care, supporting clinical teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our services.
Key Responsibilities Support the Home Manager in developing and implementing effective clinical governance policies, NICE guidelines, and best practices, adhering to NMC and regulatory standards.
Mentor and support nurses and carers, providing coaching and training on clinical practices, including medication administration, wound care, and resident assessments.
Ensure all care records and care plans are accurate, up-to-date, and reflect residents needs in line with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and review clinical standards across the home, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Act as a role model for nursing and care teams, demonstrating excellent clinical practice and providing leadership and guidance.
Collaborate with the wider management team to maintain a positive, supportive, and engaged work environment.
Skills and Attributes Proven experience in a Nurse Manager or similar leadership role within the care sector.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a pleasant and professional demeanour.
Strong team player with the ability to coach, mentor, and inspire staff.
Solid clinical knowledge with a focus on person-centred care.
Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and IT skills, including experience maintaining electronic records and databases.
Qualifications Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
Relevant post-registration clinical and leadership experience.
