STOIX has been retained by a highly-respected and ambitious organisation to identify a Head of Finance to join their dynamic team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a great opportunity for a motivated leader looking to implement change and bring value.

About the Role
You will play a pivotal role in the finance team, responsible for the day to day finance operations.
This is a high-impact position where you will help manage statutory accounts, financial reporting, governance and control processes, whilst business partnering with wider departments, providing insight and support. You will also be critical to help lead operational transformation across the business
* Financial reporting. controls & governance: Take ownership of financial controls, ensuring correct levels of governance and policies are in place. Leading on P&L reporting, developing the budget & forecasting process and manage the audit relationship.
* Stakeholder Management: Act as a business partner to Departmental heads and the Board of Directors, providing actionable insights and analysis to help drive business growth.
* Operational / Process transformation: Identify and lead opportunities for development across finance and operational systems and processes.
* Leadership / Team Management: Motivate and develop your direct reports, providing a progression plan in order to provide a clear, structured succession plan.
What you will bring!
* Sector experience: B2C retail/consumer experience or manufacturing experience is needed.
* Background: A technical practice background would be a bonus with relevant PQE in relevant industries.
* Qualifications: Qualified accountant with a recognised accountancy body (ACA, ICAS, CIMA)
* Personality: An experienced leader that can demonstrate a high-emotional IQ when dealing with passionate
