About the Role:
We are working with a well-established Further Education college in the Kensington area who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their vibrant Performing Arts department. This is an exciting opportunity to support students in achieving their academic and creative goals, whilst contributing to an inclusive and inspiring learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to students within Performing Arts courses (Drama, Dance, Music and related disciplines).
*
Assist learners with a range of educational needs, ensuring equal access to the curriculum.
*
Support classroom teachers during practical and theory sessions.
*
Help students develop confidence, independence, and creative expression.
*
Contribute to rehearsals, workshops, and performances where required.
*
Foster a positive and supportive environment that enables learners to thrive.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or working with young people in an educational or creative setting.
*
A genuine interest in Performing Arts with an understanding of the subject area.
*
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*
Ability to adapt support strategies to meet diverse student needs.
*
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply).
