We are recruiting for a Controls Engineer to join a specialist engineering manufacturer based in Clydebank.
The business design and manufacture industrial systems used Globally. Due to continued project wins & Growth, they are strengthening their Controls team.
This role is suited to an engineer who wants ownership.
The Role
Write PLC programs from scratch
Develop control logic and HMI systems
Produce electrical and instrumentation designs
Configure industrial communications networks
Conduct in-house testing and FAT
Travel to site for commissioning
Work directly with customers during project delivery
The Person
Experience with Siemens PLCs preferred (others considered)
Proven ability to develop PLC applications independently
Comfortable working both in-office and on-site
Strong communication skills
Degree or relevant engineering qualification desirable
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel overseas when required
Hybrid working available after probation. Flexi-hours structure in place.
