Forever Teaching is working in partnership with a fantastic specialist SEN school in Manchester that supports children aged 4–16 with Autism and a range of co-occurring neurodivergent conditions. We’re recruiting passionate and committed Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join their team — perfect for someone who wants to gain direct, meaningful experience before progressing to further study or training.

The Role:
* Support pupils aged 4–16 with Autism and a variety of support needs, from mild to complex.
* Work alongside children with conditions like ADHD, sensory processing differences, OCD, and communication needs.
* Help create and maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom environment.
* Observe and contribute to therapeutic interventions such as speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and creative therapies including drama, art, and music.
* Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and SEN professionals to deliver tailored support and learning.
* Apply practical psychology-based techniques, including CBT approaches and sensory regulation strategies.
* Play an important role in emotional regulation and the development of coping mechanisms for young people.
* Assist with personal care where appropriate, promoting independence and dignity.
