An established, internationally operating professional services organisation is seeking a Project Accountant to join its Glasgow team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This role sits within a project-driven environment and will suit a finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, providing commercial insight and ensuring strong financial control across multiple projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in supporting project delivery from a financial perspective, including:
* Financial management and reporting across a portfolio of projects
* Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Monitoring project costs, revenue recognition and profitability
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Partnering with project managers and non-finance stakeholders
* Ensuring compliance with internal financial controls and processes
* Ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required
Requirements
We're keen to speak with professionals who can demonstrate:
* Proven experience in a project accounting or management accounting role
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems
* Ability to work in a deadline-driven, project-based environment
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to challenge and influence
* Part-qualified, fully qualified (CA / ACCA / CIMA) or qualified by experience
