Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Manchester. The Social Media Manager will develop and implement social media strategies to enhance our brand presence. Daily tasks include managing social media platforms, optimizing content for engagement, creating and curating content, and analyzing social media performance. The role requires close collaboration with marketing and communication teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing goals.
Qualifications
* Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms such as LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
* Create and schedule engaging content (posts, graphics, videos) that align with our brand and business objectives.
* Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and interactions on social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
* Analyze social media performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions) and prepare regular reports.
* Assist in running paid social media campaigns (optional, with training).
* Collaborate with the marketing, design, and product teams to produce content aligned with marketing strategies and product launches.
* Keep up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and competitor activity.
* Engage in community management and grow the follower base organically.
* Coordinate with external agencies (if needed) for content, ads, or strategy support.
Key Skills & Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or a related field (preferred).
* Basic knowledge of social media platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok.
* Familiarity with social media scheduling tools:
* Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Photoshop) are a plus.
* Strong communication and writing skills.
* Creative mindset with an eye for visual aesthetics and trends.
* Analytical mindset to track performance and suggest improvements.
* Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
* Passion for social media, digital marketing, AI Marketing, product marketing.
