EYFS Teaching Assistant – Blackpool (FY1) Start Date: After February Half Term Contract Type: Full-time, long-term Location: Blackpool Agency: Teaching Personnel Teaching Personnel are delighted to be working in partnership with a warm and supportive Primary School in Blackpool who are seeking an enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team after February half term. About the Role: This is a general TA position within the Early Years Foundation Stage. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing learning environment where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. Daily responsibilities will include: Supporting children across the EYFS setting to access learning. Delivering targeted interventions to help pupils progress in early literacy, numeracy, and communication skills. Providing 1:1 support for children who may require additional guidance or personalised attention. Assisting with classroom preparation, play‑based learning, and continuous provision. Promoting positive behaviour, independence, and engagement in learning. The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience working within EYFS or early primary settings. Be nurturing, patient, and passionate about Early Years development. Have strong communication skills and the ability to follow the EYFS framework. Show initiative and confidence when delivering early interventions. Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the Update Service. Why Work with Teaching Personnel?
