Job Description
Our audit practice is entering a new phase focused on growth. This role has been created to help our mid-market (Private Capital) audit team transform our approach to winning new business in the mid-market.
You will be part of a supportive and growing audit Go-to-Market team, as well as the national Markets and Clients community. This is an exciting opportunity to help our partners and directors achieve their growth targets by ensuring rigour and momentum in their business and client development activities.
Responsibilities
* Transform our approach to winning new business, focusing on a proactive and structured approach aligned with the Firm’s Sales and Marketing Cycle.
* Bring a fresh perspective to Business Development, leveraging previous experience to drive the right mindset.
* Support and capitalize on private equity relationships and intermediary relations, establishing a key account management framework for PE relationships.
* Champion the use of the new CRM system (Dynamics) across the Private Capital (PC) Audit practice.
* Oversee reporting and monitoring of KPIs related to the sales pipeline.
* Assist audit leaders, Head of G2M, and PC partners in identifying and pursuing new markets and targets, supporting BD efforts.
* Hold PC partners accountable for their actions and target development, addressing emerging issues or lack of progress.
* Collaborate with marketing to inform and leverage go-to-market plans.
* Develop propositions for the PC market in collaboration with assurance, tax, and advisory practices, providing insights into relevant business hooks.
* Oversee a XLOS approach to PC targets, working with BD in Entrepreneurial Services, Regions, Industries, and other Service Lines to gain synergies.
* Support building a sales culture within the Private Capital practice through regular communication and coordination.
* Identify and deliver BD/sales/account management training needs in collaboration with the G2M and Learning & Innovation teams.
Candidate Profile
Minimum criteria:
* Experience in professional services
* Background in marketing, BD, account management, or sales operations
* Experience managing senior stakeholders
* Interest or knowledge of Audit (beneficial but not critical)
The role is flexible regarding location but has a national remit, so travel may be required.
Desired skills include understanding lead generation, sales, client management, strong communication, influencing skills, initiative, CRM experience, project management, resilience, and a proactive attitude.
