Accounts Assistant required in Ceredigion:

Our client, a family-run multi-site car dealer group established across South West Wales, is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team in Cardigan, Ceredigion.
Reporting to the Accountant and working as part of a friendly accounts team, your duties will include:
4. Process a high volume of invoices accurately and timely manner
5. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
6. Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
7. Assist with month-end closing procedures
8. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
9. Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries
To be eligible, you will ideally live within an easily commutable distance of Ceredigion and will need to hold recent or current experience working within a similar Accounts Payable Clerk role. You will need to be IT literate and have a methodical and organised approach, as well as being a team player. Experience working in the motor industry or with the SAGE 50 accounting software system would be advantageous, but is non-essential. A UK driving licence with minimal points is also required, as this position may occasionally require you to travel between sites within our client's group.
