Responsibilities
* Manage and monitor all areas of service and standards
* Ensure all legislative and due diligence procedures are carried out in line with company policy
* Plan for service improvements in all areas
* Attend BM Caterers craft development opportunities
* Ensure BM Caterers concepts and innovations are implemented and marketed effectively within the business
* Ensure all team HOD's are aware of required standards and current achievement status
* Communicate regularly with line manager to ensure clear goals are set, feedback sought and ideas shared
* Ensure budgetary targets are achieved, ensuring any controls are in place and monitored
* Liaise with the client and customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
* Ensure efficient and hygienic working practices are consistent in all areas
Ideally, you will have 2‑3 years' experience in contract catering or hospitality, with strong barista skills and experience as a Deputy Manager, or be an experienced Café Supervisor ready to take the next step in your career. This is a lone worker role, so excellent time management and organisational skills are essential. You will have a solid understanding of food production, service standards, and cost control management. You may already hold a Hospitality Diploma/NVQ equivalent with Food Safety at Level 3 and Health & Safety at Level 2, or equivalent.
