A School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a full-semester contract at an elementary setting in Holden, ME. This full-time role offers the opportunity to support students in grades 2 through 8 across two school buildings, providing speech and language services tailored to each childs unique needs.
Responsibilities include evaluating, assessing, and delivering therapy to a caseload of up to 50 students, including those who use AAC devices. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 3 PM, delivering approximately 35 hours of service weekly. The position is set to start as soon as possible and runs through May 30th, 2025, with strong potential for renewal for the 2025/2026 school year.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
* Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) credential
* Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred
* Experience working with elementary-age students (grades 2-8)
* Familiarity and experience with AAC devices and communication strategies
* Ability to manage a caseload of up to 50 students effectively
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across two buildings
