Technical Sales Manager
We are an international manufacturing company that designs, manufactures and markets capital plant equipment used within manufacturing, processing, and construction industries. This is a great opportunity to join a reputable business that offers long‑term development.
We are looking for someone with experience working with capital equipment in industries such as automotive, aerospace, sheet‑metal fabrication, HVAC, or similar. The ideal candidate can be an experienced sales professional or an engineer looking for a sales role.
The Technical Sales Manager Role
* Identifying and securing new orders of capital equipment at client sites across the Southern region
* Following up on leads from the company’s service teams and inbound enquiries
* Visiting existing customers and growing sales orders
* 75% of time customer‑based visits (approx. 75 visits)
* Visiting company headquarters in Switzerland 2–3 days per month to support customer product demonstrations
The Technical Sales Manager Candidate
* Experience working with capital equipment
* Experience in a technical sales role or engineering background with a desire to move into sales
