We are looking for an Events Assistant to join a company in the events sector operating globally to produce and deliver international business summits in the sustainability sector.
As an Events Assistant you will:
* Assist in venue research and shortlisting as well as sourcing related vendors
* Manage the registration site, process new registrations and generate reports
* Set up and maintain the networking event platform
* Liaise with speakers to coordinate logistics and gather information to market them in the run up to the event
* Support the business development teams by registering delegates and guests
* Issue invoices and receipts
* Proofread information and coordinate delegate information
* Manage speakers and presentations on event days
* Assist with event delivery including setup, registration, delegate support, and liaison with the venue and technical teams
Skills & experience required:
* A strong interest in events is essential, ideally with a relevant degree or equivalent and/or previous experience in events administration
* Experience/ability managing multiple deadlines, projects and contact points
* Strong communication and organisation skills
* Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
* Flexibility to travel internationally and to be flexible with working hours dependent on the needs of various events
Salary, hours and company benefits:
* £24,000 to £30,000 based on experience
* Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, office based in Brighton
