Flexible SEN Supply Teaching Assistant - Dunstable
Our Berkhamsted team is currently recruiting Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to support a range of schools in the Dunstable area. We work closely with several Primary, Secondary, and Specialist SEN schools who require flexible, reliable support staff for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term assignments.

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs while helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment. You will work alongside teachers and school staff to ensure pupils receive the support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities of a Supply Teaching Assistant
* Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons and learning activities
* Working with individual pupils or small groups to support learning and development
* Providing targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining a safe learning environment
* Encouraging pupils social, emotional, and communication development
* Preparing classroom resources and supporting general classroom duties
* Providing feedback to teachers regarding pupil progress and engagement
* Responsibilities may vary depending on the school and assignment.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
* Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable but not essential)
* Have an interest in SEN, child development, or education
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Are adaptable, proactive, and enthusiastic
* Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* Are reliable, flexible, and able to commute to Dunstable
* Experience in Primary, Secondary, or specialist SEN settings would be highly beneficial but is not essential.
