Job Title: Depot Assistant Location: Amesbury Reports to: Depot Manager Hours: 40hrs per week (Monday to Friday) About the Role: We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Depot Assistant to join our team. Reporting directly to the Depot Manager, you will play a key role in supporting depot operations through efficient warehousing and administrative services. Your work will contribute to high standards of customer service and smooth daily operations for both our commercial and local distribution teams. Key Responsibilities: Perform all general administrative tasks and maintain accurate records using our internal MATRIX system. Manage trade counter and cash sales, handling customer enquiries both in person and over the phone. Ensure proper documentation is completed, submitted on time, and maintained accurately. Support with stock control, including counting, recording deliveries, and reporting any discrepancies. Assist with physical manual handling tasks such as loading and unloading goods. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Promote and follow all company policies regarding health & safety, security, and legal compliance. Work collaboratively with team members and maintain good working relationships with both internal and external contacts. Carry out any additional tasks as directed by the Depot Manager.
