Woodhall Solicitors is seeking a full-time Solicitor / Conveyancer / Experienced Paralegal to join our Bradford office in an on-site role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a residential and commercial conveyancing caseload, acting for buyers, sellers, landlords, and lenders.
Duties will include handling property transactions from instruction through to completion, drafting and reviewing contracts and associated documentation, liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, and ensuring transactions progress efficiently and in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role also involves maintaining strong client relationships, delivering high standards of client care, and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a conveyancing caseload from initial instruction to post-completion
* Drafting, reviewing, and amending contracts, transfers, and supporting documentation
* Conducting and reviewing property searches and title documentation
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and third parties throughout transactions
* Advising clients clearly and effectively on conveyancing matters
* Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including AML and client care procedures
* Meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate case records
Qualifications and Experience
* Legal qualification (e.g. Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, Paralegal or equivalent legal qualification)
* Law Degree LLB
* Knowledge or experience in residential and or commercial conveyancing
* Understanding of property law, land registration, and conveyancing procedures
* Strong communication, drafting, and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple files and work effectively under time pressure
* Commitment to high standards of client care and professional ethics
* Able to manage a conveyancing caseload from initial instruction to post-completion
* Experience within a legal practice environment required
