We’re recruiting a Sous Chef to join a highly respected luxury event catering company in North London. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef with a background in high-end events or quality contract catering, who enjoys working in a calm, structured kitchen and delivering exceptional food at scale.
The role is predominantly Monday to Friday with a 5pm finish, offering strong work–life balance. During peak periods, you’ll support up to two evening events per week, working alongside an experienced Head Chef, Executive Chef and a well-established kitchen brigade.
The role
1. Support the Head Chef and Executive Chef in the day-to-day kitchen operation
2. Deliver food for luxury events ranging from canapé receptions to large-scale events.
3. Maintain high culinary standards, consistency and presentation.
4. Help lead, mentor and develop the chef brigade
5. Contribute to smooth service for events of up to 2,000 guests

10. Salary up to £55,000
11. 40–45 hours per week
