Your Role as a KS1 Teacher Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons tailored to Key Stage 1 pupils. Foster a supportive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel confident and valued. Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support and feedback. Encourage children to develop strong early literacy and numeracy skills through engaging activities. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to support each child’s learning journey. Participate in staff meetings, training, and whole-school initiatives. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Experience teaching in Key Stage 1. A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies. Excellent communication and classroom management skills. A passion for inclusive education and supporting young learners. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
