BMD is currently seeking applicants for a range of traineeships in Civil Construction within the Rockhampton to Gladstone Regions. You’ll get paid while you learn, and gain the skills and knowledge needed to become a civil construction worker or labourer with Australia’s largest privately-owned civil contractor!
Qualified civil construction workers are in high demand for major infrastructure projects such as pipelines, roadways and dams. About the role:
* Traineeships with potential for ongoing employment
* On the job training to complete a Certificate II or III Civil Construction
* Attractive remuneration
What you’ll bring to the role:
* A good work ethic and strong desire for a career in civil construction
* A positive “can do” attitude, reliable and punctual
* A desire to learn new skills and be willing to complete all modules required as part of Certificate II or III in Civil Construction
* The ability and willingness to follow safety and compliance work practices
* Be physically fit and be able to perform manual, labour-intensive work
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen
* Car licence and reliable vehicle (desirable)
* Construction White Card (desirable)
