Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role based in the Manchester Area, United Kingdom. As an Area Manager - Children's Residential, you will support multiple care homes, ensuring they operate to the highest standards of care and compliance with regulations. Responsibilities include monitoring service performance, managing budgets, providing staff training, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in our care. You will play a vital role in maintaining a nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for children and young people.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication skills to liaise effectively with team members, children, and external stakeholders
* Proven People Management experience with the ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff
* Budgeting skills and the ability to oversee and manage financial planning effectively
* Strong understanding of regulations and compliance standards for children’s residential services
* Relevant qualifications in social care or a related field (e.g., NVQ, Level 5 in Leadership and Management)
* Commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the well-being of children and young people
