Overview
NHS Highland is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner / Professional Lead to join our dynamic team of community nurses in East Sutherland. This is a permanent full-time position (37 hours per week) that offers an opportunity to progress your career and influence the changes required to meet evolving health needs in East Sutherland. The post requires strong, effective leadership qualities to guide the Integrated Care Team.

Responsibilities
* Provide expertise and advice in the treatment and support of patients in the community.
* Work closely with the wider multi-disciplinary and Integrated Team staff and general practice to support individuals to have good quality care in their own homes.
* Lead, mentor and train others within the immediate team/area and, as necessary, to students on placement within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
* Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in District Nursing.
* Skilled and creative, with the ability to work with other professionals as a leader in the Integrated Care Team.
* A full UK driving licence is essential; a pool car is available and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes if required.
