Description
• Working within our Machine Shop, the apprentice will play a pivotal role in the opening stages of our in-house furniture manufacturing process, working on real products from day one.
• As part of a skilled 10-person team, you will be introduced to a wide range of manufacturing processes, using machinery of varying complexity. You will begin with timber selection and press-room knock-up, before progressing to CNC operations and traditional heirloom skills.
• The role encourages strong workshop health and safety practices, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and cut lists.
Requirements
• Age 18+ due to legal requirement of heavy machinery
• We are looking for a motivated and self-driven individual to join our successful apprenticeship scheme.
• You will be partnered with an experienced mentor and work closely with your team, making good communication skills an important part of the role.
• We create furniture for some of the most prestigious properties around the world, using the highest-quality materials and processes. This is a unique opportunity for someone who shares our passion for craftsmanship and wants to build a long-term career in furniture making.
