Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a high-performing and well-respected secondary school in the Croxley Green area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Religious Studies educator to engage and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a love of Religious Studies, delivering high-quality lessons, and contributing to a dynamic and supportive department.
Role Overview:
* Teach Religious Studies across KS3 and KS4
* Encourage critical thinking, ethical debate, and philosophical reflection
* Support students' academic and personal development
* Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that meet the needs of all learners
* Participate in departmental and whole-school activities, contributing to the wider school community
About the Department:
The Religious Studies department delivers a broad and engaging curriculum focused on Religion, Philosophy, and Society. At GCSE, students follow AQA Christianity and Islam, while at KS3, pupils explore religion from diverse perspectives. Core Religious Studies is delivered through dedicated curriculum days at KS4. The department consistently achieves strong exam results and promotes curiosity, evaluation, and discussion.
