The Role
As a Medical Copywriter, you’ll translate complex scientific language into clear, engaging, and compliant copy. You’ll work with global accounts, including oncology and other therapeutic areas, turning scientific data into compelling stories that resonate with audiences while meeting medical, legal, and regulatory standards.
You’ll contribute to campaigns across print, digital, social, and emerging technologies, helping the team explore new formats while maintaining scientific rigor. Your work will have a real-world impact, influencing how healthcare professionals and patients engage with important medical information.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret scientific data and translate it into compelling messaging aligned with campaign strategy
* Advise colleagues and clients on medical content and scientific accuracy
* Maintain medical oversight across accounts and ensure regulatory compliance
* Contribute to creative briefs and strategic/tactical plans with a scientific perspective
* Manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring quality output
* Collaborate across teams, including account, creative, and client services
* Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders
Requirements
* Strong medical or scientific background
* Proven experience as a medical writer or copywriter
* Understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Interest in digital communications and multi-channel content
* Ambitious and motivated to expand your experience in medical communications
* Ideally, some exposure to conceptual or creative work
