Our client is a well-established and highly respected specialist contractor operating across London and the South East. They are recognised for delivering complex structural and demolition packages, particularly on technically challenging inner-city schemes. Their expertise includes structural alterations, cut & carve projects, reinforced concrete (RC) frame construction and enabling works on major commercial and mixed‑use developments.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of central London projects, they are now seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a key project in Westminster.
The Role
The Project Manager will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of a technically challenging RC frame and cut & carve project in Westminster. This role will involve managing site teams, coordinating subcontractors, ensuring programme targets are met, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality on site.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing the full lifecycle of the project from pre‑construction through to completion
* Overseeing RC frame construction and complex structural alterations / cut & carve works
* Managing site teams including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors
* Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget
* Liaising with clients, consultants and senior management
* Monitoring project programme and driving progress on site
* Managing project documentation, reporting and site meetings
* Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety regulations
* Identifying and mitigating project risks
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction sector
* Strong experience delivering RC frame and cut & carve projects
* Experience working on complex central London developments
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Strong knowledge of construction programmes and project delivery
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and subcontractors
Qualifications
* SMSTS
* CSCS (Black or Gold Card preferred)
* Relevant construction or engineering qualification (preferred)
