A vacancy has arisen within Business Services for a full-time Administration Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join the team who support our Fleet department based at our Hackworth Road depot in Peterlee.
WHAT IS INVOLVED?
We are looking for a professional and enthusiastic team player who takes pride in providing excellent customer-service. The successful candidate will have good communication skills, be able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy, be well-organised and flexible, have good IT skills and manage changing priorities.
You will also need to be able to work unsupervised using your own initiative. On occasion there may be a requirement to work in other locations providing cover if needed.
The duties include:
* reception duties
* dealing with enquiries over the telephone, face to face and e-mail
* liaising with workshop personnel
* raising jobs on the Fleet Management System for vehicle repairs, tyres, taxi and MOT testing
* monitoring fuel stocks and ordering fuel
* general administration duties.
Cover for other depots is an essential requirement of the role. This includes Meadowfield, Morrison Busty at Annfield Plain and Chilton depots.

WHAT WILL I NEED?
You must have 5 GCSEs (grades A-C) or equivalent.
