About the Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will be a key part of our kitchen brigade, working closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to consistently deliver high-quality food across breakfast, lunch, afternoon teas, and specials. You'll be working with fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Whether you're prepping for the day, leading a section, or supporting service during a busy lunchtime rush, your role is crucial to the smooth running of our kitchen and the satisfaction of our guests.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard, consistently and efficiently
* Managing a designated section of the kitchen with precision and pride
* Supporting the Head and Sous Chefs in menu development and daily specials
* Ensuring all food preparation areas are clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety regulations
* Maintaining stock control and assisting with deliveries, storage, and rotation of ingredients
* Training, mentoring, and guiding junior kitchen staff
* Working collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth, timely service
* Following all food hygiene and allergen procedures diligently
* Contributing to the positive kitchen culture with a proactive, team-focused attitude
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience in a CDP or Demi CDP role in a busy, quality-led kitchen
* A genuine passion for cooking and delivering outstanding food
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
* A calm, positive, and solutions-focused attitude
* A solid understanding of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operations
* A team player who leads by example and inspires others
* Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading times
