Timstar are looking for a dedicated Science Customer Engagement Manager to play a pivotal role in elevating their science portfolio and strengthening their presence in the education sector. The successful candidate will be a trusted and valued contributor within the Global Education Supplies (GES) division, playing a key role in raising the visibility, relevance and commercial performance of the Timstar science product range.
This role would suit an experienced science education specialist or engagement professional who enjoys combining technical understanding with creative content, customer interaction and commercial delivery.
What you’ll be doing
* Leading customer events and engagement activity to showcase the Timstar science range and build brand awareness.
* Creating clear, user‑friendly technical content for campaigns, product launches and go‑to‑market activity.
* Supporting sales enablement by preparing product overviews, training materials, FAQs and internal updates.
* Working closely with product, marketing, sales and supplier partners to support bids, tenders and large‑scale opportunities.
* Managing key customer relationships across England and Wales to support growth and retention.
* Gathering customer insights to inform messaging, identify barriers to purchase and improve communication effectiveness.
* Representing Timstar at conferences, school networks and industry events to strengthen market presence.
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience within the science education sector, with confidence engaging directly with customers and suppliers.
* Strong ability to translate technical information into accessible, engaging content.
* Skilled in using data and customer insight to shape sales and marketing activity.
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel for data analysis, PowerPoint for impactful presentations and Word for professional documentation.
* A proactive, adaptable and solutions‑focused approach.
* Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites and events.
