Job Title: Hire Desk Controller
My client is looking for a motivated individual with experience in plant and tools hire.
Responsibilities:
1. Receiving orders from sites and organising plant & tools for these orders from existing stock at the plant yard or on other sites, or through external suppliers.
2. Inputting relevant information into the IT system to track and account for all plant and tools going out to or returning from sites.
3. Developing and maintaining knowledge of the company's equipment to support your role.
4. Supporting the management team to increase productivity and reduce waste.
Requirements:
* At least 2-3 years of experience in the plant hire sector, whether with a supplier or a construction contractor in a similar role.
* Good communication skills, computer literacy, and efficient organisation.
* Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines, with strong administration and time management skills.
Rewards and Benefits:
Salary range of £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, based on experience. Benefits include pension and an annual bonus scheme. Self-employed options via limited company are also considered, with pay rates negotiated accordingly.
