Café Assistant Location 2nd Avenue Café, 52 - 56 Antrim Street, Lisburn Salary £12.70 per hour Hours of work 30 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 8.30am-2.30pm Responsible for: Assisting the café manager with daily operations while supporting adults with a learning disability in a safe and inclusive environment. The Key purpose of the post is to deliver great food and customer service - it also involves working alongside adults with a learning disability, supporting them in a safe and inclusive working environment Main Responsibilities Ensure a clean, friendly and positive working environment throughout the café Assist the Café Manager in overseeing the day to day operations of the café, ensuring a high standard of food and customer service Preparing and cooking a range of hot and cold deli items Ensure correct positioning and presentation of all products Rotate stock and check dates to maintain freshness and reduce waste Serving customers with warmth and professionalism Making hot drinks barista experience is a bonus!
