Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for an experienced Domestic Gas professional to join our leading apprenticeship provision as a Programme Tutor. This role focuses on supporting and assessing apprentices in their place of work, so regular travel to employer sites is a key part of the job.
You’ll work directly with learners and employers to deliver high-quality training in domestic gas safety, installation and maintenance, helping apprentices build competence and confidence in line with industry standards. The role also involves monitoring progress, providing practical feedback, and preparing learners for their End Point Assessment, with a strong emphasis on safe working practices and current regulations.
Qualifications
You’ll need a recognised Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Domestic heating (or equivalent) and current ACS certifications such as CCN1 and CENWAT. Experience of coaching, mentoring or assessing others would be beneficial. This is a practical, people-focused role for someone who wants to use their industry experience to support the next generation of gas engineers.
