The Role:
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Deliver tailored, inclusive, and engaging lessons to meet the individual learning styles and abilities of each pupil.
* Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)that promote measurable progress across cognitive, social, and emotional development.
* Use a nurturing and therapeutic approach to behaviour management, fostering a safe, supportive, and calm classroom environment.
* Work closely with a team of skilled teaching assistants, therapists, and multi-agency professionals to provide holistic support to each learner.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress regularly, using this data to adapt teaching strategies and inform planning.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with parents and carers to promote continuity of learning between home and school.
* Contribute to whole-school development and participate in ongoing CPD and training opportunities.

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, preferably in a specialist setting.
* Strong understanding of differentiated teaching and learning approaches.
* Excellent knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and safeguarding procedures.
* Ability to design and deliver creative, engaging lessons tailored to a wide range of needs and abilities.
* High levels of patience, empathy, and resilience.
* Team player with a commitment to collaborative practice and a positive, proactive attitude.
