We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3D Print Department Assistant to join our innovative manufacturing team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in fabrication and advanced manufacturing techniques.
The successful candidate will support the 3D printing operations, assist with materials handling, and contribute to the realisation of complex projects within a dynamic environment.
Prior warehouse or assembly experience would be advantageous together with a can do attitude.
Duties
* Assist with the setup, calibration, and operation of 3D printers and related fabrication equipment
* Support the organisation and management of materials used in the department
* Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment
* Aid in the assembly, inspection, and finishing of printed components
* Packing products into boxes for onward transportation
* Maintain accurate records of production runs and materials usage
* Support the department in meeting project deadlines through effective organisation and communication
* Keeping the department clean and tidy
Qualifications
* Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
* Experience working in a warehouse environment or assembly line is desirable
* Good organisational skills with an eye for detail and safety compliance
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Initially to the end of April with possibility of more hours dependent on production needs.
Hours of Work: 8:30 - 5:00 Monday to Friday including a 30 min lunch break (potential of weekend work if production requires it).
We are local to Chertsey Train station and also have on site parking.
