Role Overview:
You will have good communication skills and attention to detail. You will have good organisational skills and be able to work alone and as part of a team. Previous experience working as a Housekeeping Assistant for 4/5-star Hotel or Serviced Apartment company is beneficial. You are directly responsible for the cleanliness of the apartments, public areas and storerooms assigned to you.
Reporting To;
Housekeeping Manager
Main Duties:
* General check of properties inside & outside – Ensuring that all properties maintained by housekeeping team on the daily basis.
* Linen - Auditing Linen Count Sheet on the daily basis. Checking if the cleaners are updating this on a regular basis. Ensuring Interim Stock check completed on the monthly.
* Comparing EOS cleaning task with departures list to ensure that all departures have EOS cleaning task. It needs to be completed by 4pm.
* General cleanliness of storerooms/ communal areas/garbage areas – Ensuring that cleanliness is maintained by housekeepers on a daily basis, HO to be informed when areas require cleaning.
* Reporting breakages/damages or missing items to Property Services and Housekeeping.
* Toiletries/Welcome Pack/Chemicals – Maintaining minimum levels of stock in each location and notifying Housekeeping Manager by email.
* Q Apartment inventory– Making sure that inventory sheets are updated, minimum stock levels are maintained in each location. (Kitchen items, fans, extra duvets and pillows)
* Pre-Arrival check list – Ensuring that pre-arrival checklist completed and signed as required.
* Post – Ensuring that post boxes are checked and cleared prior arrivals
* Keys – Monitoring guest & HSK keys, completing audit on a daily basis.
* Access – Give access to contractors and landlords
* Occasionally to clean apartments, public areas and colleague's facilities to the highest standards within a given time frame and in line with daily schedule.
* To be familiar with apartment inventories, including bedroom, kitchen, living room and bathrooms, ensuring that all items are correctly counted and displayed in the apartment up to the standards set by Q Apartments.
* To report after guest departure the condition of the apartment ensuring that your manager is fully aware of damages and or items missing from the apartments.
* To report any professional cleaning required for example cleaning of net curtains and curtain, carpet and upholstery cleaning after a guest departure.
* To be familiar with Health and Safety relevant to your job.
* To contribute to stock checks within apartments and any discrepancies are reported and refilled ensuring that the Q standards are maintained for all arriving guests.
* To always maintain a smart and professional grooming standard whilst in the premises as per the Q Apartment standards.
* To adhere to all the necessary company policies and standards of communication at all times.
* To be flexible – hours may change, weekend and bank holiday work will be required on a rotational basis.
* To be a team player and co-operate in order to provide the best service to our guests.
* To assist, when necessary, with the collection and placement of keys and to ensure that keys are secure at all times.
* To attend team meetings when requested to do so.
* To carry out basic maintenance tasks as required to ensure an excellent level of customer service is provided.
* To carry out reasonable requests from managers to facilitate the high level of customer services our guests expect from us.

Offer & Benefits:
* Salary: £27,000pa
* Holiday 20 days per annum, plus 1 extra day added per year after 2 years of service up to a total of 25 days.
* Eligible for company pension scheme upon successful completion of probation period (3 months)
* 6 month probationary period
