Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Manage a caseload of participants, ensuring they are supported and challenged appropriately to progress towards Self Employment.
2. Partner with participants to create comprehensive action plans to identify appropriate actions to remove barriers to Self-Employment.
3. Conduct assessments with referred participants to evaluate job readiness and provide support to build confidence for sustained employment.
4. Identify participants who may benefit from referrals to specialist organisations for Self Employment information, advice, and guidance.
5. Understand internal and external information, advice, and guidance related to general barriers and Self Employment-specific support such as tax, finance, and business planning.
6. Ensure participants have access to workshops and tailored support, including health, mental health, transferable skills, job searching, CV writing, and interview skills.
7. Liaise with local Job Centres.

Meet personal performance targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Good working knowledge of Self Employment and understanding of challenges faced by participants.
Ability to build effective and positive relationships with participants to identify and overcome barriers to Self Employment or enhance existing Self Employment.
Co-produce personalized SMART action plans with sequenced interventions and development opportunities to assess participant suitability for Self Employment.
Utilize an integration framework of local specialist services to support issues such as substance misuse, anger management, debt advice, health, and vocational training.
