What You'll Do: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes, machinery, tools, and the overall site. Your responsibilities will include: Daily Maintenance: Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on Pneumatic, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical systems according to a monthly schedule. Rapid Response: Quickly address machinery breakdowns, diagnose faults, and implement effective rectification measures. Documentation: Capture and record all maintenance activities, ensuring accurate tracking of work completed. Tooling Management: Identify underperforming tools and develop improvement plans, including justifications for capital replacements. Stock Management: Maintain an inventory of critical spare parts to minimize downtime. Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Manager and liaise with external contractors when necessary. Training: Attend relevant training courses to enhance your skills related to machinery and processes. What You'll Bring: To be successful in this role, you should possess: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, including expertise in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Strong knowledge of gearboxes, pumps, valves, chillers, compressors, motors, bearings, and presses. Familiarity with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with PLC systems and the ability to interpret electrical schematics, pneumatic circuit diagrams, and engineering drawings. MIG welding skills and a computer-literate background. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. An ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently.
