Warehouse Operative – Stocktake People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to support a major warehouse stocktake project based in Edinburgh. This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity starting ASAP and running for three weeks, with the potential for permanent work for strong performers once the stocktake is completed. Project dates and overview: • Start Date: Immediate • Duration: Until 20th February • Weeks 1–2: Stock count training and preparation work • From 16th February: Official warehouse stocktake begins Shifts: • Monday to Friday • 8:00am – 6:00pm • 40 hours per week Rates of Pay: • £12.21 per hour • Weekly pay Benefits: Your benefits as a Stocktake Warehouse Operative will be: • Full-time, weekday work • Edinburgh location – just off Hermiston Gait • Structured training and preparation period • Opportunity for ongoing work for strong and reliable candidates • Supportive on-site management Day-to-Day Duties: As a Stocktake Warehouse Operative, your duties will include: • Accurately counting stock within the warehouse • Recording stock data precisely • Inputting figures into stock management systems • Supporting preparation and organisation ahead of the official stocktake • Maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail • Working as part of a dedicated stocktake team Essential Skills: The skills required as a Stocktake Warehouse Operative are: • Impeccable attention to detail • Strong numerical ability and confidence with maths • Fluent English reading, writing and comprehension • Comfortable with data entry and working with figures • Reliable, punctual and able to commit fully to the project • Able to work long shifts and maintain concentration Essential Requirements: • This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week • Student or part-time availability cannot be considered • Candidates must be available for the full 3-week period with no holidays, appointments or planned absences • Candidates must also be available for potential ongoing work after the stocktake if successful Training Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout assignment Apply: If you are ready to take on this detail-focused stocktake role, apply today by clicking the link below or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more.
